Course Description

Bash plays an important role if one wants to be an expert offensive hacker, pen tester, forensics analysts and or security specialist. All key areas of Bash will be covered to ensure that our Nafi Members are ready for the next gen of jobs and startups in Pakistan.

The following key areas will be covered

  • Standard output and input, and executing commands
  • Shell variables, shell logic, and arithmetic
  • Intermediate shell tools and advanced scripting
  • Searching for files with find, locate, and slocate
  • Working with dates and times
  • Creating shell scripts for various end-user tasks
  • Working with tasks that require parsing
  • Writing secure shell scripts
  • Configuring and customizing bash
  • Bash importance in Kali Linux and offensive hacking

Target audience

This course is designed for those Nafi members who would like to pursue offensive hacking along with digital forensics and other key emerging technologies. The course is ideal for school, college and university students and those professionals who would like to learn Linux Bash for enhancing their career.

The course will allow our nafi members to carefully craft shell scripts through which they can save time and effort, or facilitate consistency and repeatability for a variety of common tasks.
